One year on-site, parts and labor warranty on Custom Computers
Every custom computer from Cade PC includes a one year on-site
warranty provided by
Computer Warranty Services LLC (CWS), a Texas-based international provider
of technical support and on-site warranty service. Cade PC has partnered with
Computer Warranty Services because of their superb service and US-based call
centers. If you ever have a problem with your computer's hardware, Cade PC and
Computer Warranty Services will make sure it is resolved quickly and
professionally. The complete details of this warranty coverage are provided
below.
Premium Warranty Coverage
Our Premium Warranty service provides fast,
on-site repair of your PC should any problem occur - no need to ship your
computer back to our facilities. In addition, you will have 24x7 telephone
access to a U.S.-based help desk to help troubleshoot hardware or operating
system issues. When you call
Computer Warranty Services LLC (CWS) for support, you will have little or no
waiting to speak to a real computer expert. You will NOT be connected overseas
to representatives that are hard to understand and follow scripted responses to
pre-defined issues. CWS operates with a network of thousands of local repair
technicians in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and most parts of Canada, to ensure that your warranty will be executed ASAP.
Limited Warranty Information:
CWS warrants Cade PC
manufactured computers against defects in materials or workmanship for a period
of 1 year from the effective date listed on your warranty documentation. You may also
purchase warranty coverage for 2 or 3 year periods. We are not liable for loss
of use or loss of data as a result of equipment failure or by any other cause.
A surge suppressor is required to be in place at all times while your computer
is under warranty. This can be a standard surge protector or a battery
backup with surge protection.
If there is a problem, you will probably be called upon to perform actions at
our direction to perform recovery tasks and preliminary troubleshooting on your
computer. These tasks may take up to a few hours to perform in some cases. Your
cooperation is required as a condition of your warranty.
If you requested a special component to be installed which we do not normally
stock then some restrictions apply to the special component: If the component
fails, then you must either 1) obtain a replacement part yourself, 2) Get the
manufacturer to replace the part, 3) Send it to us for a replacement exchange
from the manufacturer if it is possible for us to do so. This may involve
significant delays.
You may call the Toll-Free Technical Support phone number (listed on your
warranty policy) 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for technical support. For
general warranty information, call Computer Warranty Services at their
Administration offices Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:30PM (CST) at
1-866-357-5530. Technical Support may not be available on some holidays. If CWS
determines that an on-site service call is required then a technician will be
sent to the location of the computer to perform on-site repairs as fast as
possible.
Our total liability shall not be greater than the original purchase price under
any circumstances.
All replacement parts will be shipped to the "Ship To:" address on our files
unless you have notified us in writing or by Email of a different address. If
you dot not notify us of an address change then you are responsible for loss of
the item if it is accepted by another party at the address on file with us and
the item is unrecoverable.
Non-US customers are
responsible for customs duties and import inspection fees on replacement parts.
The warranty does not cover
re-loading your software if the Operating System requires re-installation.
At our discretion, and with
your agreement, we may choose to repair your desktop computer at our facility or
replace it completely. If a desktop requires repair at our facility then we will
send you a box and have FedEx ground pick it up at our expense. We will repair
it and ship it back to you at our expense. You will only be required to place
the computer in the box and remove the repaired computer from the box. On-Site
setup is not included in this service. Shipping your computer to us for repair
is a last-resort measure if we are unable to find repair technicians in you area
who can correctly perform the needed work. Depending on availability, we may be
able to provide a temporary replacement computer.
Your co-operation may be
required to correct a problem using phone support. On-site service or computer
replacement will not be performed if you refuse to cooperate with phone-based
support.
Usually our technicians
will return defective parts. If for some reason you are asked to return defective parts, then
you will be provided a return shipping label. Failure to return parts will
result in suspension of your warranty until 1) the parts are returned, or 2) you
pay for the parts. If you do not return the part then you are indicating your
intention to purchase those parts and your credit card will be charged according
to their value.
How long will repairs take to perform
Problems with desktop computers will be analyzed on the phone and may require
your assistance (as outlined elsewhere in this document). If phone-based support
cannot resolve the problem then an on-site repair will be scheduled. If parts
are required, then a repair technician appointment will be scheduled based on when parts will arrive at your location.
If the computer is not capable of performing your work, then
replacement parts will be shipped by overnight delivery. Repairs are usually
completed by the technician in a single visit.
Termination
Warranties expire 1-3 years after the date of shipping, based on which contract
length you purchased. Warranties with a duration less than 3 years can generally be extended for a fee if we are notified before
the warranty has expired. The customer may terminate
the warranty at any time for a pro-rated refund of the remaining value of the
warranty. We may terminate a warranty
if the customer is un-cooperative or we are unable to work effectively and
professionally with the customer. If we terminate the warranty then we will mail
a pro-rated refund of the remaining value of the warranty.
