It’s been said that business decisions are seldom made between what is right and what is wrong, but rather between what is good and what is best. We couldn’t agree more. That’s why at Cade PC, our commitment to the environment goes beyond the products we sell, it also charts the course for the way we conduct business. We are more than a just another company that sells computers; we are a computer company that cares about the environment.
Just as there are many factors to consider when trying to build environmentally-friendly computers, there are many important decisions that go into running a green business. In everything we do at Cade PC, we have worked to incorporate sustainable business practices that reduce our environmental footprint. Below is a brief summary of our efforts, with links included to the partners that have helped us become a brighter shade of green.

Co-op America is a nonprofit organization committed to social justice and environmental sustainability. Each year they publish a green business directory called the National Green Pages™. To be listed in this directory, businesses must pass a screening process that demonstrates they are:
- Focused on using business as a tool for positive social change.
- “Values-driven”, as well as profit-driven.
- Socially and environmentally responsible in the way they source, manufacture, and market their products and run their offices and factories.
- Committed to and employ extraordinary and innovative practices that benefit workers, communities, customers, and the environment.
At Cade PC, we are proud to be part of Co-op America’s Green Business Network and among the select group of businesses that have earned Co-op America’s Seal of Approval. This means that as our customer, you can feel confident that we are operating our business with you and the environment in mind.
Running a Green Office
We believe every purchase is an opportunity to promote positive change, and practice green purchasing to support other businesses and organizations with values similar to our own. This includes purchasing office supplies from

Carbon Offsets
Cade PC is a member of the CarbonFree™ program, and purchases carbon credits to offset the carbon emissions

Recycling "e-waste" & technotrash
The only thing as important as how technology is made, is how it is disposed of. At Cade PC, computer systems that are no longer usable are sent to
www.5rprocessors.com – one of the most responsible and progressive recycling centers in the US. Other e-waste, including CDs, DVDs, and a variety of storage media and their containers, is sent to www.greendisk.com, before being recycled and turned into a variety of useful products.
